Vanguard Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Physician Assistant with at least three years of experience, preferably in plastic or reconstructive surgery, to join its dynamic surgical team.
This role supports surgeons in the operating room, provides comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, and contributes to excellent patient outcomes within a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of a licensed surgeon.

Conduct preoperative and postoperative assessments, including patient education and follow-up care.

Perform selected surgical procedures and assist with invasive techniques.

Evaluate and manage patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient history, assessments, and surgical procedures.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individual patient care plans.

Participate in patient education and counseling to facilitate informed decision-making.

Stay updated on advancements in surgical techniques and technologies, particularly in plastic surgery.
Qualifications
-
Certified Physician Assistant with active licensure in the State of Florida

Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program

Minimum of three years of clinical experience as a PA, with strong preference for plastic or reconstructive surgery experience

Experience with loupes on microsurgical cases is a strong plus

Comfortable across the full patient journey, including pre-op optimization, intra-operative support, and post-operative care

Proficiency in surgical procedures and patient management practices

Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple priorities
