Plastic, Reconstructive, and Microsurgical Associates (PRMA) is a high-volume breast reconstruction destination with eleven surgeons working in a true co-surgeon model for efficiency, quality, and shared learning. While microsurgical breast reconstruction is our core service, and we also support growth into additional service lines—including lymphedema, lower extremity, cosmetic, and other niche specialties—giving you the opportunity to expand your scope and create a niche destination practice. Dedicated nursing staff and surgical PAs support cases and call coverage, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Training Pathway
Fellowship training is preferred but not required. For the right candidate, PRMA offers a structured 4-month mini-microsurgery fellowship before transitioning to a full associate role.

Qualifications
- Board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeon
- Strong interest in breast reconstruction and microsurgical procedures; lymphedema and/or cosmetic interest welcomed
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and innovative problem-solving skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Eligibility for Texas medical licensure
Responsibilities
- Perform microsurgical breast reconstruction (DIEP and other perforator flap procedures) within a co-surgeon model
- Have an opportunity to participate in and help expand additional niche service lines
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and patient experience
- Contribute to continuous improvement, education, and innovation within the practice
